Lily Cove Artisan Fabrics are made in rural Maine where I have lived with my family and worked as a high school teacher. My love of fiber arts began more than forty years ago when I was given a scholarship to attend the Haystack School to learn spinning, dyeing, weaving and how to process raw fleece from local farms. I also learned how valuable the lessons of self-esteem and courage are for young artisans. Now I volunteer to assist high schools  teaching fiber arts with materials and curriculum for their students. I also show my work and teach at a local farm and fiber mill to support farm-to-school education for art and agriculture students. Your purchases at Lily Cove Artisan Fabrics support these efforts and I thank you.
